The Fix Woman Institute was founded on June 24, 2023, in Brisbane, Australia, by Paula Ichitani, with the purpose of providing support, guidance, and a fresh start for women facing domestic violence, psychological abuse, or social vulnerability.
The project began in a simple way — as emergency assistance to a student mother in Australia with a baby in a risky situation — and quickly evolved into a support network with volunteers and local partnerships. From this experience, the institute was born, with the mission of transforming empathy into structured and sustainable action.
